The Texas Center for Child and Family Studies is excited to host a 2-day, FREE, on-line clinical training: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy is an evidenced-based treatment model specifically designed for use with children and adolescents who have Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) symptoms, depression, or behavior problems after trauma and their parents and caregivers. It is designed for therapists and clinicians working directly with children and youth who have experienced trauma. Upon completion of this training, participants will be provided follow-up consultation with the expert trainers. This will allow participants to consult as they are applying the skills learned, gain competency and work toward earning their TF-CBT certification. The goal of this training is to support child welfare clinicians and their organizations in providing high quality, evidence-based interventions to the children, youth and families they are serving.
You are invited to send one member of your staff to this training. Attendees must be master’s level clinicians.
